I need to hook up my USB cable modem to me oldest pc(bout 7 years), how would I go about doing it, considering it doesn't have a USB port? blink

Well, its a Cable Modem... so it does speeds of over 100kbps from what I've seen thus far.  This is going to be for me 4 comp network..... Another Tounge

It does.... but I plan on using it for accessing the network.  hmm  I think we may need to have a big team planning in networking on how to layout my network... as its going to be f'ed up. :\

why can't you use another computer which have a USB port as an internet gateway and then use connection sharing to use internet on the computer which haven't got USB but do have network card.
