It may not matter for what I am doing but the fact that I can't figure it out is bugging me Another Tounge

If this were a standard web server, accessible from the outside, I would configure the hosts file and site1.com and site2.com would both work properly.

But this server will never get traffic from out side (it may for my home automation project at a later date, but for now, and for this topic, no).

So, I set up site1 & site 2 in the IIS. But I think this is where I am messing up... from one of the PCs, I am opening "mweb01/site1/index.asp"... I think that is going though the tree starting at wwwroot rather than site1 being root.

Am I going about this the wrong way? Does it even matter?
