Wasn't sure where to post this so I figured here would be good enough..

Wrack I have once again needed the service of your most excellent ColourPicker 1.1. There is only one point that I wish it could do, have the ability to export the list of selected colors to a text file.

Would this be possible?

Easy done but I need to do this when I get home tonight as I am flat out in the office today with an urgent change that is needed to be rolled out in 24 hours while the development required is around 4 days!

How urgent do you need it?

Take your time. I can work with it as it is. It was just something that came to me while I was using it Wink

A small app I made for fun to pick colours from the screen and then copying them to clipboard in a desired format (CSS, HTML, C#, C++).

Yeah we were all playing with it some years ago (how long has it been? Wow we were still on Invision and I think maybe Jethro and Dragonfly were the main owners then).

Great little light weight app. I particularly like that you no longer have to register the dll. You just open it and go, awesome.

Yeah it used to be with a DLL since I originally coded to have the DLL for someone else and thus I can't re-release it. Since then I have made my way around it and made it simple EXE.

It has got it's share of problems (being OLD and all!) It doesn't work well with multi monitor setup. Need to fix that when I rewrite the damn thing in .NET

Hi Wrack,

Just wanted to let you know that I found a minor issue with the colour picker application when running on Windows 10. The version number is 1.1, and the problem is that when you start the picking process, application window is still visible on the screen, although it seems that it is only an artifact and has no controls. You can pick colors from the application's window though.

Like I said this could just be an artifact problem, possibly from the graphics card or something along those lines. If you need more information I'll try to give it to you. I noticed it when my colleague used it on his setup,

HP Laptop on docking station with two monitors.

Hi JR,

The issue is, I created it a long long long time ago using Delphi on XP environment. In my Windows 10 Dev box, I haven't got Delphi installed and I don't have a VM handy. When I get time, I might rewrite it in .NET.

No promises though smile

Crap I forgot how old that thing is Tongue

After showing my colleague how it worked, he was very happy though. He liked how you can choose several colors and change the code display.

I will start making the .NET based version soon and see how that goes. I don't think that it should be too hard to make it. That being said, time will be an issue.
