I'm toying with the idea about creating an IRC channel for GalahTech for communications with member in the event that the forum's server is crashed.

The problem I have no idea which IRC network we should use for this. (I really hate being the newbie Tongue)

So if anyone has any suggestions.

In case you are wondering I'm using a ChatZilla client that is part of my Firefox browser, it provides the networks:

dalnet
efnet
freenode
hybridnet
moznet
quakenet
serenia
slashnet
undernet
webbnet

Depends what you want to do with it.

efnet and undernet are two big networks, but you will have to hunt down a server provider that will allow you to create a permanent channel.  This is much easier with quakenet.  It doesn't matter too much which you choose as long as you find a stable one - which are usually the larger ones.

Don't look back. Look in the mirror to look back.

Why don't we use Yahoo group or something similar. I already have enough IM clients installed on my machine as it is.
